Already built / 002

You don't buy a promise. You see your new site, finished, before you decide.

Built first#001

I build it

From what's already there: your services, photos, reviews and hours, in a new design made for your business.

You decide#002

You say yes

Click through it on your phone. If you like it, a short call starts the rest. If you don't, that's the end of it.

Launch#003

Live within a week

On the web address and hosting you already have. Nothing to move, and customers find you just like before.

Work / 003

Demo sites for made-up businesses, built the way I'd build yours.

Each one is a working website you can open on your phone. The businesses are fictional; the design work is real, and it's where your new site starts.

The Clear Ledger demo site, the home page on a laptop

No ranking promises

The groundwork search engines read: clear page titles and descriptions, structured data, a sitemap, fast pages and clean redirects. Nobody can honestly promise rankings, and I don't.

  • Local business structured data
  • Sitemap and Search Console setup
  • Speed and Core Web Vitals fixes
  • Business details matched everywhere

About a reskin

The numbers / 005

Why the website
still matters.

Figures from published surveys and studies, each linked to its source. They describe customers in general, not a promise about your site.

91%

of U.S. adults own a smartphone.

Pew Research Center, 2025

97%

of consumers read reviews for local businesses.

BrightLocal, 2026

47%

won't use a business with fewer than 20 reviews.

BrightLocal, 2026

8.4%

more retail conversions when mobile pages loaded 0.1 s faster, across 37 large brands.

Google and Deloitte, 2020

How it works / 006

Built first.
Then you decide.

Most of the work happens before you hear from me. By the time you see your new site, it's built, and your part is a short call and a few answers.

“You see your finished site before you decide anything. If it isn't right for you, that's the end of it.”

  1. 001

I look at your current site

I find local businesses whose websites have fallen behind, or you send me yours. I note what works, what's missing, and what customers need to find first.

  2. 002

    I build the new one

Your services, photos, reviews and hours, rebuilt in a design made for your business. Phone-first and fast.

  3. 003

    You see it finished

I send it over so you can click through it on your phone. No call needed just to look.

  4. 004

    You say yes

A short call, a short agreement, half to start, and an invitation to your site's editor. Never a password by email.

  5. 005

    Live within a week

Your final content and two rounds of changes, then launch on your own domain and hosting, with old links redirected.

Questions / 008

Fair questions, straight answers.

Before you commit

Who does the work?

I lead every project myself: Ethan, founder of Linnet Studio in Kirkland, WA. I design, build and launch your site, and I'm the one who answers your email.

How can my site be built before I've said yes?

I use what's already public: your current site, your services, photos and reviews. That's enough to build a real, clickable new version. If you say yes, I swap in anything you'd like updated.

What do you need from me?

A short call to talk it through, a short agreement, an invitation to your site's editor or hosting, and about ten minutes of answers. Newer photos are welcome but optional.

Price and scope

What does $4,000 include?

Up to 8 pages, your copy tidied and rewritten where it's weak, a phone-first design that loads fast, a contact or quote form, two rounds of changes, and the launch with your old links redirected. Real defects are fixed free for 30 days after launch.

Do I have to move my domain, hosting or email?

No. I rebuild on the web address and hosting you already have, so nothing moves and your email isn't touched.

What isn't included?

Online stores, logins and member areas, ongoing content updates, and promises about rankings or traffic. Brand design, SEO work and full reskins are separate services, quoted per project.

After launch

Who owns the site?

You do. It lives on your hosting under your domain, and nothing depends on my accounts.

What if I need changes later?

Email me. Real defects in the first 30 days are fixed free; anything else is quoted in writing before I start. There's no monthly plan to sign up for.

My site is on Wix, Squarespace or WordPress. Is that a problem?

No. I rebuild on the platform you have. Sites in a builder like Wix, Squarespace or GoDaddy's take a little longer and have some design limits, and I'll tell you about those up front.
